Sackler Prize
The Sackler Prize ( English Raymond and Beverly Sackler International Prize ) of Tel Aviv University is a prize in biophysics, chemistry ("physical sciences") and physics, which is awarded to younger scientists in chemistry and physics. The topics for which the prize is awarded and the disciplines alternate. The prize is endowed with $ 100,000 each (as of 2012) and named after the founders Raymond and Beverly Sackler.
The age limit was initially 40 years and has been 45 years since 2008. There is no age limit for the biophysics prize; for the winners of the chemistry award, the Ph.D. should not be more than 15 years ago (as of 2012).
2015 was held at the National Academy of Sciences of the United States endowed with $ 400,000 Raymond and Beverly Sackler Prize in Convergence Research donated.
