Saint-Martin-lès-Melle is a commune Déléguée in the French municipality of Melle with 871 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ).
The municipality of Saint-Martin-lès-Melle was merged with Melle , Paizay-le-Tort , Saint-Léger-de-la-Martinière and Mazières-sur-Béronne to form the Commune nouvelle Melle on January 1, 2019 . Since then it has had the status of a Commune déléguée. The municipality of Saint-Martin-lès-Melle belonged to the Arrondissement of Niort and was part of the canton of Melle .
