Saint-Sulpice is a town and commune Déléguée in the French commune of La Roche-Neuville with 239 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Mayenne in the region Pays de la Loire . The inhabitants of the municipality are called Saint-Sulpiciens .

On January 1, 2019, the municipality of Saint-Sulpice merged with Loigné-sur-Mayenne to form the Commune nouvelle La Roche-Neuville. Since then it has had the status of a Commune déléguée. The municipality of Saint-Sulpice was part of the arrondissement of Château-Gontier and the canton of Azé (until 2015: canton of Château-Gontier-Ouest )

geography

Saint-Sulpice is located about 24 kilometers south-southeast of Laval . The Mayenne river limits the Commune déléguée to the east. The municipality of Saint-Sulpice was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Houssay in the north and west, Villiers-Charlemagne in the north and east, Fromentières in the southeast and Loigné-sur-Mayenne in the south.
