Saint-Sylvain-d'Anjou is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Verrières-en-Anjou with 4,694 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . The inhabitants are called Saint-Sylvainais (es) .
With effect from January 1, 2016, the communes of Pellouailles-les-Vignes and Saint-Sylvain-d'Anjou were merged to form a commune nouvelle with the name Verrières-en-Anjou. The municipality of Saint-Sylvain-d'Anjou belonged to the Arrondissement of Angers and the canton of Angers-4 (until 2015: canton of Angers-Nord-Est ).
