Salinas del Manzano is located in the eastern foothills of the Serrania de Cuenca , south of the Montes Universales, very close to the border between the provinces of Valencia and Teruel , not far from the Río Henarrubia. The Carretera Nacional N-420 is the main thoroughfare; it connects Salinas del Manzano with Córdoba and Tarragona . It is 82 kilometers to Cuenca and 67 kilometers to Teruel .
