Salvador González Morales

Salvador González Morales (born December 20, 1971 in Mexico City ) is a Mexican clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Mexico City .

Life

Salvador González Morales studied Philosophy and Catholic Theology at the Seminary in Mexico City. He was born on 16 June 2001 on the deacon ordained and received on 18 May 2002 the archbishop of Mexico City, Norberto Cardinal Rivera Carrera , the sacrament of Holy Orders . González Morales graduated from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome with a degree in philosophy.

Subsequently, Salvador González Morales worked as subregens at the seminary in Mexico City, general secretary of the Instituto Superior de Estudios Eclesiásticos as well as professor at the Universidad Católica Lumen Gentium and as parish vicar . Most recently he was pastor of the parish of San Bernardino .

On 16 February 2019 Pope appointed him Francis to the titular of Lacubaza and auxiliary bishop in Mexico City. The Archbishop of Mexico City, Carlos Cardinal Aguiar Retes , donated him and Carlos Enrique Samaniego López the episcopal ordination on March 25 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Apostolic Nuncio in Mexico , Archbishop Franco Coppola , and the Auxiliary Bishop in Mexico City, Andrés Vargas Peña .
