San Juan del Piraí is a town in the Chuquisaca department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

San Juan del Piraí is the central place of the Cantón San Juan del Piraí in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Monteagudo in the province of Hernando Siles . San Juan is located at an altitude of 1202  m on the left bank of the Río Parapetí and is framed by north-south mountain ranges with lush vegetation.
