Santiago Agrelo Martínez
Santiago Agrelo Martínez OFM (born June 20, 1942 in Asados , Spain ) is a Spanish religious and emeritus Roman Catholic Archbishop of Tangier .
Life
Santiago Agrelo Martínez entered the religious order of the Franciscans and received on 13 August 1966, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On April 11, 2007 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Archbishop of Tangier . The Archbishop of Seville , Cardinal Carlos Amigo Vallejo, OFM, ordained him episcopal on June 17th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Apostolic Nuncio in Morocco , Archbishop Antonio Sozzo , and the Archbishop of Rabat , Vincent Louis Marie Landel SCI. di Béth.
Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on May 24, 2019.
