Santiago Vergini (born August 3, 1988 in Máximo Paz , Argentina ) is an Argentine football player .

Career

society

Vergini passed through the youth departments of the clubs Atlético Paz and CA Vélez Sársfield and started his professional career in 2011 at the Argentine club Club Olimpia . After one season he was loaned to the Italian club Hellas Verona and handed over to Newell's Old Boys in the summer of 2011 . After two seasons for the Old Boys, he moved to Estudiantes de La Plata . From this club he was loaned to AFC Sunderland for the 2014/15 season and sold to them at the end of the season.

Moved to Sunderland AFC, he was loaned to Spanish club Getafe FC without a competitive game in the same transfer period . In the summer of 2016, he returned to his homeland with his move to the Boca Juniors .

The Turkish first division club Bursaspor signed him for the 2018 summer transfer period .

National team

Vergini completed a total of three missions for the Argentine national team between 2012 and 2014 .
