Anıl Karaer (born July 4, 1988 in Istanbul , Turkey ) is a Turkish football player. He is the son of former soccer player Sefer Karaer , who also came from the Galatasarays youth department.

Career

Karaer has been a professional football player since the 2007/08 season . By signing Hakan Balta from Vestel Manisaspor , Galatasaray Istanbul Anıl gave in return on loan. Galatasaray hopes that the young defender will get the match experience at Manisa that he can only get to a limited extent with the Red-Yellows .

Anıl Karaer played his first game against Gençlerbirliği Ankara on September 16, 2007. During the 2007/08 winter break, Galatasaray loaned him to Çaykur Rizespor . For the 2008/09 season he went on loan to a club again, this time to MKE Ankaragücü .

In the summer of 2009 he moved to the second division Adanaspor . Here he immediately became a regular player and at the end of the season a player in the All-Star Team of the TFF 1st Lig .

During the winter break of the 2011/12 season, the current coach of the first division club Kardemir Karabükspor , Bülent Korkmaz , brought him to his new place of work. In the summer of 2013 he was loaned to the second division Mersin İdman Yurdu for one season. At this club he immediately won a regular place and played almost all of his team's competitive games. With this he ended the season as the playoff winner of the TFF 1st Lig and thus achieved direct promotion back to the Süper Lig .

For the 2014/15 season, Karaer moved to the first division club Kayseri Erciyesspor and thus succeeded head coach Bülent Korkmaz, with whom he already worked at Kardemir Karabükspor. At this club he quickly established himself as a regular player and top performer. Although his club missed relegation at the end of the season, Karaer's season performance was highlighted by some specialist journalists.

After relegation Erciyesspor he left this club and moved to the first division club Eskişehirspor . After this club also missed relegation in summer 2016, Karaer moved to Kayserispor within the Süper Lig .

After spending the second half of the 2016/17 season at first division club Gençlerbirliği Ankara , he moved to city and league rivals Osmanlıspor FK in the summer .
