Iasmin Latovlevici (born May 11, 1986 in Moldova Nouă , Caraş-Severin County ) is a Romanian football player .

Career

Latovlevici's career began in 2005 when he signed a contract with FC Timișoara after his youth with various smaller clubs in Timișoara . In the first half of the 2005/06 season, however, he was immediately loaned to local rivals CFR Timișoara . After his return he initially hardly played in Divizia A (today League 1 ), but mostly played in the club's second team in Divizia B (today League 2 ). Only in the 2008/09 season he came to more frequent missions, but was loaned again in the 2009/10 season and went to Gloria Bistrița . In the summer of 2010, Latovlevici moved to Steaua Bucharest . There he won his first title with the cup win in 2011 . The 2013 championship followed two years later . He was able to repeat this success a year later .

For the 2015/16 season Latovlevici moved to the Turkish Süper Lig for the capital club Gençlerbirliği Ankara . After a season he moved on to promoted Kardemir Karabükspor within the league . On September 8, 2017, Latovlevici moved to Galatasaray Istanbul .

National team

At the end of May 2011, Latovlevici was appointed to the Romanian national team for the first time by national coach Răzvan Lucescu . During a trip to South America, he played his first international match against Brazil on June 7, 2011 . After he was also used three days later against Paraguay over the full distance, he was called for the upcoming European Championship qualification , but initially not used. He made his competitive debut on October 11, 2011 against Albania . In the following years, Latovlevici was a regular in the squad, but rarely got a chance. His last appearance for the time being was on November 14, 2012 in a friendly against Belgium .

In August 2013 Latovlevici returned to the national team. In the friendly against Slovakia , he was in the starting line-up and was used for the full playing time. In September 2013 he was part of the Lucescu squad, but was not used. On October 11, 2013, he was one of the eleven who beat Andorra 4-0 in the World Cup qualifier . In the final relegation game against Greece , he came to a brief assignment on November 19, 2013. This was his last international match for almost three years. Although he was part of the squad in October 2014 and September 2015, he was not used. Latovlevici only returned in October 2016 under the new national coach Christoph Daum . In the 5-0 victory over Armenia on October 8, 2016, he played over 90 minutes. In the following two World Cup qualifiers , Daum did without him. It was only in the friendly against Russia on November 15, 2016 that he played again.
