Cüneyt Köz (born October 12, 1992 in Kösching ) is a German-Turkish football player .
Career
Köz grew up in Lenting and started playing soccer at TSV there . At the age of ten he joined the youth department of MTV Ingolstadt and was appointed to the Bavarian team a little later. This aroused the interest of larger clubs and finally moved in 2005, at the age of twelve, to the C-youth of FC Bayern Munich . There Köz reached the final of the German B-Youth Championship with the B-Youth team in 2009 , which despite his 1-0 opening goal was lost 3-1 to VfB Stuttgart .
As a youth player he made his debut in the second team, which on May 8, 2010, the last matchday of the 2009/10 season , lost 4-1 in the away game at Kickers Offenbach in the 3rd division ; he was substituted on in the 56th minute for Saër Sène . After another nine third division appearances by Köz in the following 2010/11 season , he and his team were relegated to the Regionalliga Süd at the end of the season . On May 18, 2011 Köz played his first appearance for the first team in a friendly game at Zenit Saint Petersburg , when he came on in the 86th minute for Anatoly Tymoschtschuk . On October 28, 2011 (15th matchday) he scored his first regional league with the goal of the interim 2-0 in a 4-1 win in the home game against SC Pfullendorf .
On May 10, 2012, Köz broke his contract with FC Bayern Munich, which ran until 2013, and signed a two-year contract with the second division club Dynamo Dresden . Without commitment for the Dresdner he was loaned on January 30, 2013 to the third division team Preußen Münster until the end of the season. For his loan club, he played a total of seven league games.
After the loan deal ended, Köz's contract with Dynamo Dresden was terminated by mutual agreement. Köz moved to the Turkish first division club Kayserispor , for whom he made his debut on October 5, 2013 (7th matchday) - in the 76th minute for Srđan Mijailović - in the 0-1 defeat in the home game against Gaziantepspor . At the end of the season he rose with the club as table sixteenth in the 2nd league .
In January 2016 he moved to the second division Balıkesirspor .
