Sarah-Quita Najive Offringa (born July 4, 1991 in Oranjestad ) is a Dutch windsurfer from the Caribbean island of Aruba .
Career
Offringa has been participating in the Windsurf World Cup since 2003 with the sail number ARU-91 and competes in the disciplines of freestyle, slalom and wave. In the freestyle discipline, she won the world title from 2008 to 2017, and in 2011, 2015 to 2017 also in slalom. From 2008 to 2018 she did not lose a heat in the PWA freestyle competitions.
The windsurfing and documentary about Sarah-Quita Offringa "Cabeibusha, the Curly Gem" was premiered on October 2nd, 2015 as part of the Windsurf World Cup Sylt in the Kinowelt Westerland . Julian Robinet's film is the first windsurfing film about a woman.
