Sarah Masuch

Sarah Masuch (born March 31, 1978 in Hamburg ) is a German film, television and theater actress from Hamburg. She was known to a wider audience as Dr. Iris Brooks is known in the series Lindenstrasse .

biography

Masuch is the daughter of a Nigerian and a German. She completed her acting training at the Bavarian Theater Academy in Munich, speaks English, Spanish and French and plays the piano and clarinet . She lives with her husband, a lawyer, and son and daughter in Hamburg.

In 1997 she played Vixen in the Threepenny Opera at the Residenztheater in Munich . Between 2000 and 2005 she was at the Schauspielhaus in Hamburg engaged ( The Seagull , The Lady from the Sea , confetti, Ode to Joy, Velvet Underground, What are you afraid of, my father Che Guevara ) . This was followed by work at the Hamburger Kammerspiele (2005: Grandiose Loser ), at the Theaterfabrik Hamburg (2006: Dogville ), in the cabaret area (2009/2010: Duo Bleckonweit with Christine Prayon ) and at the Hamburg Harbor Museum (2011: Cargopolis ).

After roles in the evening series Großstadtrevier and in the Tatort series, among others , Masuch played the doctor Dr. Iris Brooks in the WDR - TV series Lindenstraße .
