The Sarto publishing bookstore is a publishing bookstore in the legal form of a GmbH based in Bobingen . It is a publisher and bookshop in the German district of the Pius Brotherhood . According to the company, the aim is to “enlighten people for the truth through Catholic literature”. According to its own statements, the publisher aims to eliminate the “general religious ignorance” and to fight against the “heresy of modernism ” condemned by the Catholic Church under Pope Pius X.

Pope Pius X , whose real name was Giuseppe Sarto , is the publisher's namesake.

Among other things, the publisher publishes works by the founder of the Pius Brotherhood, Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre , in German. In addition to the publication of new books, Sarto tries to get new editions of older Catholic standard works and, as a bookstore, to offer non-publishing Catholic titles.

The Civitas Institute from Neunkirchen-Seelscheid distributes its magazine Civitas. Journal for the Christian community through Sarto Verlag.
