Schönberg is a district of Wusterhausen / Dosse in the Brandenburg district of Ostprignitz-Ruppin, east of the Wittstock-Ruppiner Heide .

history

Around 1490 Schönberg belonged to the Ruppin rule . However, the manorial rule was exercised by the dukes of Mecklenburg . Until 1937 the place had enclave status and belonged to Mecklenburg-Schwerin . The place passed from Mecklenburg to Prussia in 1937. He stayed with Brandenburg after the Second World War and came to the Potsdam district in 1952 . When it was incorporated into Wusterhausen / Dosse on December 31, 1997, the place lost its independence.
