The Schleswig-Holstein Chess Association (SVSH) is the state association of chess clubs in Schleswig-Holstein . The association based in Kiel was founded in 1946.

Chess federation

The chess federation, which is led by a presidium under the direction of Ullrich Krause, organizes the individual and team championships at the state level.

There are four districts under the Chess Federation:

Chess youth

In addition to the Chess Association, the Schachjugend Schleswig-Holstein (SJSH) organizes youth chess in Schleswig-Holstein. Here the team leader organizes the national league and the association leagues. The individual game leader primarily organizes the individual national youth championship (LJEM) in Neumünster.
