Schadeberg is a district of Diesdorf in the Altmarkkreis Salzwedel in Saxony-Anhalt .

Geography and transport links

The Altmark village of Schadeberg is four kilometers north-west of Diesdorf between the Diesdorf districts of Dülseberg and Schadewohl . The Salzwedeler Dumme , a left tributary of the Jeetze, flows north of Schadeberg .

The state border with Lower Saxony runs to the west. The conservation area Salzwedel-This village is located east.

history

On July 1, 1950, the community of Schadeberg was created through the merger of the previous communities of Dülseberg and Schadewohl . After 1950, the village of Schadeberg emerged from the former brickworks, dairy and the Höddelsen-Reddigau stop at that time, the later Schadeberg train station.

In 1955, the first agricultural production cooperative type III "Dawn" was founded in Schadeberg .
