The Schaffhauser Kantonalbank , based in Schaffhausen, is the cantonal bank of the canton of Schaffhausen . The bank, founded in 1883, has six locations (Schaffhausen, Neuhausen am Rheinfall , Thayngen , Stein am Rhein , Ramsen , Gächlingen ) and employs 319 people. The Schaffhauser Kantonalbank is organized as an institution under public law and belongs 100 percent to the Canton of Schaffhausen. The highest supervisory body of the Schaffhauser Kantonalbank is the bank council. This consists of nine members and is currently chaired by Florian Hotz. Vice-President is Markus Furrer. Seven members and the presidium of the bank council are determined by the cantonal council ( legislative branch of the canton of Schaffhausen), one member is elected by the Schaffhausen government council ( executive branch of the canton).

The operational management lies with the management . This consists of five members and is headed by Martin Vogel.
