Scheibelsgrub is a village and a district of the market Mitterfels in the Lower Bavarian district of Straubing-Bogen .

The SR 6 district road runs through the village . State road St 2140 runs on the northern edge of the village .

history

Hofmark and Patrimonial Court

The Hofmark Scheibel Grub included in 1805 Aigen with two houses, three of the five houses of Buchenberg, the front , dunk with two houses, courtier with two houses, Scheibel Grub with 22 houses, Schottbühl with a house, two of the five houses of Utendorf and three of the seven houses of Weingarten . Some owners of the Hofmark: Anna Nothaftin von Wernberg, née von Seibpoltstorf (≈1611), Nikolaus Rosenkranz (1644), his widow (1661), Franz Rosenkranz (1662), Johann Franz Rosenkranz (1693), his heirs (1717), Johann Georg Freiherr von Werndle (1721), his widow Maria Elisabetha Freifrau von Werndle (1760, sold 1770), Simon Thaddäus von Joner (1785), Franz Xaver Benno Peter de Alcantara, Reichsgraf von Joner auf Tettenweis (1787), Johann Nepomuk Graf von Joner.

In 1820 a second class patrimonial court was established on Scheibelsgrub with its seat in Steinburg. On June 6, 1835, patrimonial jurisdiction was transferred to the Mitterfels district court.

Scheibelsgrub community

As the former municipality of Scheibelsgrub, it consisted of the districts Scheibelsgrub, Hochfeld and Schoppühl and was dissolved in 1876 and attached to the municipality of Mitterfels.
