history
In the Middle Ages , the castle of the Barons of Oberboltshausen probably stood on the site of the manor house . The current building dates from the 16th century. From 1659 in the possession of the Barons Ebinger von der Burg , it was bought by the Kesselring family in 1784 and converted into a Biedermeier castle with a mansard roof in 1820 . Today, the winery is run by Johannes Meier, the nephew of Hans Ulrich Kesselring , who died in 2008 , in the eighth generation.
