Sebastian Bolesław Kosiorek (born January 28, 1983 in Ełk , Poland ) is a former Polish rower .

Career

Kosiorek began rowing in 1995 at the young age of 12, but did not take part in any international competitions in junior classes. For the 2003 season he nevertheless made it into the Polish men's eighth in the open age group, was able to take part in the World Cup and the World Championships in Milan and was 8th. In the 2004 Olympic year Kosiorek was able to keep his place in the Polish eighth and start with Bogdan Zalewski , Piotr Buchalski , Rafał Hejmej , Dariusz Nowak , Wojciech Gutorski , Michał Stawowski , Mikołaj Burda and helmsman Daniel Trojanowski in Athens at the Summer Olympics . The team did not reach the final and took 8th place overall.

In the four years before the Beijing Games, the Polish eighth with Kosiorek was able to regularly place in the A-final of the World Championships. At the 2005 World Championships in Japan, 5th place, the following year at the Rowing World Championships in Eton, 6th place.
