Chumuckla is about 25 km northwest of Milton and about 40 km north of Pensacola .

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the then 850 inhabitants were distributed over 324 households. 95.1% of the population identified themselves as whites , 0.5% as African American , 2.0% as Indians and 0.6% as Asian Americans . 0.5% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 1.4% to several ethnic groups. 0.7% of the population were Hispanics or Latinos .

In 2010 children under the age of 18 lived in 28.9% of all households and persons aged 65 or over lived in 31.3% of all households. 75.5% of the households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or one parent with offspring). The average household size was 2.51 people and the average family size was 2.83 people.

22.4% of the population were younger than 20 years, 23.8% were 20 to 39 years old, 29.2% were 40 to 59 years old, and 24.7% were at least 60 years old. The mean age was 45 years. 51.5% of the population were male and 48.5% were female.

The median annual income was $ 68,438, with 4.6% of the population living below the poverty line.
