Point Baker borders directly on Milton in the south and is about 30 km north of Pensacola . Florida State Roads 87 and 89 cross the CDP .

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the then 2991 inhabitants were distributed over 1297 households. 85.4% of the population identified themselves as whites, 7.9% as African American , 1.2% as Indians, and 1.6% as Asian Americans . 0.8% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 3.1% to several ethnic groups. 3.9% of the population were Hispanics or Latinos .

In 2010 children under 18 years of age and 21.8% of all households lived in 35.7% of all households with persons at least 65 years of age. 69.4% of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or one parent with offspring). The average household size was 2.56 and the average family size was 3.00.

27.3% of the population were younger than 20 years old, 29.3% were 20 to 39 years old, 26.5% were 40 to 59 years old, and 16.8% were at least 60 years old. The mean age was 34 years. 50.5% of the population were male and 49.5% were female.
