Brownsdale is a census-designated place (CDP) in Santa Rosa County in the US state of Florida with 471 inhabitants (as of 2010).

Brownsdale is about 35 km north of Milton and about 50 km north of Pensacola .

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the then 471 inhabitants were distributed over 238 households. 97.0% of the population identified themselves as white, 0.2% as African-American and 1.5% as Native American . 0.2% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 1.1% to several ethnic groups. 1.9% of the population was made up of Hispanics or Latinos .
