Sebastian Lletget (born September 3, 1992 in San Francisco , California ) is an American football player.
Player career
youth
Lletget was born in San Francisco to Argentine immigrants and grew up in northern California, where he played for Sporting Santa Clara, a youth football club from Santa Clara, California , in his youth . There he was discovered by scouts from the English football club West Ham United . This convinced him for the academy program of their club and so he moved to England in 2009.
West Ham United
Lletget signed his first professional contract with the English Premier League club West Ham United in September 2010. In the 2012/2013 season he was a substitute for four Premier League games on the bench. However, he fell ill with Pfeiffer's glandular fever and could no longer be used for the time being. In 2013 he extended his contract with Londoners. On January 5, 2014, Lletget made his debut for West Ham in the FA Cup game against Nottingham Forest . Most of the time at West Ham United he was active for the reserve team in the Premier League 2 .
LA Galaxy
On May 8, 2015, he was signed by the LA Galaxy .
National team
On January 6, 2017, Lletget was named to the national soccer team of the United States . There he made his debut against Serbia on January 29, 2017.
