Selbach is a district of Gaggenau in the Baden-Württemberg district of Rastatt . The once independent town, first mentioned in 1243, was incorporated into Gaggenau on April 1, 1970.
Location and transport links
Selbach is located south of the core town of Gaggenau in the Selbach valley , a left tributary of the Murg in the northern Black Forest . The L 79a state road , which climbs steeply to the Wolfsschlucht , runs through the village . They connect buses of the Baden-Baden Selbach transport company with Gaggenau and Baden-Baden . The B 462 runs east. The former municipality had an area of 3.69 km².
