Semjon Leonidowitsch Koschin ( Russian Семён Леонидович Кожин ; born March 11, 1979 in Moscow ) is a Russian artist , painter , graphic artist , decorator and member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia IFA.

Life

Koschin's father is the engineer Leonid Arkadiewitsch Koschin, his mother Irina Koschina (née Dayschutowa) is a historian, filmmaker and teacher of English. Koschin studied at the Moscow Academic Art School. NW Tomski, at the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. From 2000 to 2010 he participated in exhibitions in Russia and abroad. Koschin presents himself as an opponent of democracy and an advocate of the monarchy and the social order . He lives and works in Moscow.

Semjon Leonidowitsch Koschin was born on March 11, 1979 in Moscow. His father Leonid Arkadjewitsch Koschin is an engineer by profession, while his mother Irina Michajlowna Koschina (née Dajschutowa) is an English teacher. 1986–1988 Several times he played episode roles, u. a. for the "Gorki" film studio.

In the years 1988–1990 Koschin studied at the Krasnopresnenskaya Art School in Moscow while attending a middle school. In 1990 he enrolled at the Moscow Academic Art School of the Russian Academy of Arts. Together with his classmates, he visited several cities in Russia ( Velikiye Luki , Ryazan , Solowki , cities of the so-called " Golden Ring ") to devote himself to outdoor painting. As a thesis, he prepared a series of illustrations for “Complete Lessons in Russian History”.

In 1997, Koschin enrolled in the Painting Faculty of the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. In 2001 he was given the task of making a small painting "Fest". He made a plan and painted two variants of the composition “Fastnacht. Driving out winter ". In 2002 he learned in the studio for landscape paintings under the direction of Alexander Pavlovich Afonin. In 2003 he made the painting " Ferapontow Monastery " as his diploma thesis , which was successfully appraised.

He uses watercolor , gouache and acrylic painting techniques as well as those of oil and tempera painting . Today he works and lives in Moscow. In 2001–2002 he went on educational trips to England . The artist made a series of realistic drawings after the nature of the English village of Haddenham ( Buckinghamshire ). In 2004 he provided acrylic illustrations for a biographical children's book about the famous Italian tenor Luciano Pavarotti . The book was published in Korea. He created a series of graphics for the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm " Rapunzel " and " Hansel and Gretel ".

In the years 2005-2015 he traveled a lot both through Russia: Tver , Kaluga regions , the so-called Golden Ring of Russia , the Urals , and abroad; he created a series of paintings from England, Malta , Ireland , Switzerland , Greece , Turkey , Spain , Italy, etc. A leading role in Koschin's creative work was part of the mood landscape, dominated by a strong drawing , at the same time a fine color palette of purple and light blue shades. In his works, observations of nature are combined with well thought-out color and composition. The artist sometimes used myths in his painting by resorting to the genre and history compositions.
