The transmitter Behren-Bokel (also known as transmitter Uelzen-Sprakensehl ) is a transmitter of the Deutsche Telekom AG owned by the German radio tower (DFMG) near Sprakensehl . The Behren-Bokel transmitter uses a 323-meter-high tubular steel mast as antenna support, which at the time of its completion in 1961 was the tallest structure in the Federal Republic of Germany. It is only one meter smaller than the Eiffel Tower . Next to the transmission mast there is a small, free-standing tubular steel tower.
