Serge Poudrier (born April 22, 1966 in Thetford Mines , Québec ) is a former Canadian - French ice hockey player who played for the Augsburg Panthers and Hannover Scorpions in the German Ice Hockey League from 1983 to 2006 .
Career
Serge Pourdrier began his career as a hockey player in the Canadian top junior league QMJHL , in which he was active from 1983 to 1986 for the Draveurs de Trois-Rivières . He then moved to Anglet Hormadi Elite in Division 1 , the second French division, in which he played for another three years before running up for Girondins de Bordeaux from 1989 to 1991 . Then the defender of Rouen Hockey Elite 76 was committed, with whom he was then four times in a row French champions . In addition, he was defeated in the 1995/96 season with Rouen in the finals for the championship of the Albatros de Brest . Due to these successes, the Augsburg Panthers became aware of the right-handed shooter, for whom he was on the ice for a year in the German Ice Hockey League and then for their league rivals Hannover Scorpions .

For France , Poudrier took part in the B-World Cup in 1991 and the A-World Cup in 1992 , 1993 , 1994 , 1995 , 1996 and 1999 . He was also on the French squad at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville , 1994 in Lillehammer and 1998 in Nagano .
