Sergei Wassiljewitsch Andrejew

Sergei Wassiljewitsch Andrejew ( Ukrainian Сергій Васильович Андрєєв , Russian Серге́й Васи́льевич Андре́ев ; born May 16, 1956 in Luhansk , Ukrainian SSR ) is a former Soviet football player and former soccer player.

Sergei Andrejew began his career as a youth player with Zorya Luhansk . In 1978 he moved to SKA Rostov . In 1981 he won the Soviet Cup with this team , in the final Spartak Moscow was defeated 1-0 and Andreyev scored the winning goal. In 1980 and 1984 he was the top scorer in the Soviet Vysschaya League . In 1986 he moved to the Rostselmasch team, today's FK Rostow .

For the Soviet national team , the striker played a total of 26 times between 1979 and 1983 and scored eight goals. At the football tournament of the 1980 Olympics , he won the bronze medal with the Soviet team and was top scorer of the tournament with five goals. In 1982 Andreev took part in the World Cup in Spain .

In 1989 Andrejew moved to Sweden, first to Östers IF , from 1991 he played for the Mjällby AIF team . In 1993 he returned to Rostselmasch in Russia.

After Andrejew ended his active career in 1995, he worked as a trainer at Rostelmasch until 2000. Later he trained among others Salyut Belgorod and in 2008 the Kazakh club FK Atyrau . Since 2009 he has been working as a trainer in a football boarding school in Rostov-on-Don .
