Yevhen Shakhov ( Ukrainian Евген Шахов , Russian Евгений Сергеевич Шахов , English transcription. Yevhen Shakhov * 6. July 1962 in Zaporizhia , Ukrainian SSR , Soviet Union ) is a former Soviet-Ukrainian football player and current coach .

Career

About the clubs Metalurh Saporischschja , SKA Odessa and Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk Yevgeny Schachow came in December 1989 in the Bundesliga for 1. FC Kaiserslautern as a beacon of hope in the relegation battle. However, he could not meet expectations and went back to Dnepropetrovsk after five games without a goal. He then played for various clubs in Israel. It was there that his coaching career began. In 2005 he returned to Ukraine. Since 2008 he has been an assistant trainer at Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.
