Arkadi Georgijewitsch Andreasjan (also Andriasjan ; Armenian Արկադի Գեորգիի Անդրեասյան ; Russian Аркадий Георгиевич Андреасян ; born August 11, 1947 in Baku , Azerbaijani SSR ) is a former Soviet - Armenian football player and current coach.

life and career

Arkadi Andreasjan was born in 1947 to an Armenian family in Baku. After attending the Neftschi Baku football school, he went to Shirak Gyumri from 1965 to 1966 . He then moved to the large Ararat Yerevan club . There he was not included in the professional squad and did not make any appearances in the league until 1967. Therefore, he moved to Sevan Oktemberjan in 1968 before returning to Ararat in 1969, where he was given a second chance. This time Andreasjan was able to prevail and became a regular player. In 1971 he was then appointed to the selection of the Soviet national football team. In the 1973 season , under coach Nikita Simonjan , he was able to win the club's greatest success to date, the Soviet double, consisting of the Soviet championship title and the Soviet cup . 1975 followed a second cup win with Ararat. In 1978 he ended his active football career.

He then went to Kotayk Abovyan as a coach in 1979 , until he returned to Ararat as a coach from 1981 to 1983. After an intermezzo at Spartak in October and a second "term", he coached his old club Ararat again from 1986 to 1989. From 1992 to 1993 he trained Zvartnots Etschmiadzin and then went to Lebanon to Homenmen Beirut , an association of the local Armenian minority.

From 1996 to 2003 he took over the coaching position at Ararat Yerevan for the third time. In 2005 he trained Lernain Arzach from Stepanakert , from 2007 to 2008 MIKA Ashtarak .

In 2009 he returned to Ararat for the fourth time. He caused a scandal in early 2011 when he attacked and hit a photojournalist during the game Pyunik Yerevan - Ararat Yerevan, so that he had to be hospitalized. Although Andreasjan had to pay a fine, he remained in office as a coach until the beginning of 2012.
