Semenov, who lives in Chernihiv, has been running biathlon since 1999. The car lover is trained by Oleksandr Semenov and Oleksandr Wortschak. At the 2009 European Junior Championships , he won the individual silver medal. Serhij Semenow has been running in the Biathlon World Cup since the 2009/2010 season . In his second race, a sprint in Pokljuka , he was able to take 19th place and win his first World Cup points. Within a short time he achieved several placements among the best 25th. 2010 Semenow achieved his best result so far in Antholz when he was 13th in the sprint.
