Serverus Jjumba

Serverus Jjumba (born August 2, 1962 in Katinnyondo-Kyannamukaala , Uganda ) is a Ugandan clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Masaka .

Life

Serverus Jjumba received on 20 June 1992, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On April 16, 2019, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Masaka. The bishop emeritus of Masaka, John Baptist Kaggwa , donated him episcopal ordination on July 6 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Kiyinda-Mityana , Joseph Anthony Zziwa , the Auxiliary Bishop in Mbarara , Lambert Bainomugisha , the Archbishop of Kampala , Cyprian Kizito Lwanga , and the Apostolic Nuncio in Uganda, Archbishop Luigi Bianco .
