Seydikemer is a district in the Turkish province of Muğla . The district was created in 2014 by separation from the previous district Fethiye after Muğla to Büyükşehir Belediyesi was declared.
The district is located in the east of the province and borders Fethiye in the west and Antalya province in the east . Its center is in the former town of Kemer, about 20 kilometers east of Fethiye and 120 kilometers southeast of the provincial center. The D-350 highway, which connects Fethiye with Korkuteli , runs through the district from west to east . To the east are the mountains Eren Dağı (2677 meters) and Salurtepe Dağı (2596 meters) and the ruins of the ancient Lycian cities of Oinoanda , Araxa and Tlos , as well as the historic bridges at Oinoanda and Kemer . South of the Eren Dağı is the Saklıkent Millî Parkı National Park .
