Shaun Ross
Shaun Ross (born May 10, 1991 in the Bronx , New York ) is an American model and actor . He became famous as the first professional albino model.
Life
The gay African American Ross is from New York City and started modeling when he was 16. Because of his unusual appearance, Ross initially found it difficult to get professional modeling contracts. It wasn't until 2008 that the designer Nina Athanasiou became aware of him. Since then he has had modeling assignments for GQ , Italian Vogue , iD , Paper Magazine and AnOther Magazine . He also modeled for Alexander McQueen and Hubert de Givenchy .
Ross starred in music videos for Beyoncé ( Pretty Hurts and Party ), Katy Perry ( ET ), Lana Del Rey ( Tropico ) and Steve Aoki & Autoerotique ( ILYSM ).
In 2013 he was featured on America's Next Top Model . This was followed by casts in Beyond the Skin and in an episode of the TV series The Real in 2014. From 2014 to 2015, he appeared in three episodes of the series Fashion News Live . In The Man in the High Castle (TV series) he acted as Shoe Shine Boy in two episodes.
In early February 2016, Ross made headlines in the band Bråves' music video Dust because of his freedom of movement .
