Simon, Kucher & Partners ( original spelling Simon-Kucher & Partners or Simon-Kucher for short ) is a global management consultancy with a focus on strategy, marketing , pricing and sales . Simon-Kucher currently employs around 1,400 people in 39 offices worldwide, mainly in Europe (a total of 20 offices), including in Germany with 5 offices, as well as in North America (9 offices), in South America (2 offices) and in the Asia-Pacific region (7 offices) and in North Africa (1 office).

The group of companies consists of three umbrella companies: The German parent company Simon, Kucher & Co. Holding GmbH , based in Bonn, whose operational business is carried out by several subsidiaries in different countries, and the US company Simon, Kucher & Partners Strategy & Marketing Consultants, LLC based in Cambridge , Massachusetts, and the LLP in Singapore .

history

Simon, Kucher & Partners was founded in 1985 by Hermann Simon and his doctoral students Eckhard Kucher and Karl-Heinz Sebastian in Germany. In 1996, the first international office was opened in Cambridge (Massachusetts) in the USA . From 1995 to 2009 Hermann Simon was Chairman of the Management Board of Simon, Kucher & Co. Holding GmbH , which is based in Bonn. The German parent company has been managed by Andreas von der Gathen and Mark Billig since January 2020 . The parent company in the USA called Simon, Kucher & Partners Strategy & Marketing Consultants, LLC , which is based in Cambridge (Massachusetts), was also set up by Klaus Hilleke.

The operational business of the German holding company is operated in Germany by the subsidiary Simon, Kucher & Partners Strategy & Marketing Consultants GmbH , which is also based in Bonn and is also managed by Andreas von der Gathen and Mark Cheap. Further subsidiaries exist in several countries in Europe as well as in Australia, Japan, Singapore, South America, the United Arab Emirates and the People's Republic of China. The group of companies is currently represented with a total of 39 offices in 25 countries. In 2012 offices were opened in Istanbul and Dubai . Simon-Kucher has had offices in Latin America since 2013: São Paulo , Brazil, and Santiago de Chile . In 2016 a second office was opened in Silicon Valley (now San Francisco and Mountain View), as well as branches in Geneva , Hamburg and Stockholm . In 2017, Simon-Kucher opened an office in Hong Kong .
