Simone Eriksrud

Simone Eriksrud (also Simone Larsen ; born August 21, 1970 in Freiburg , Baden-Württemberg ) is a German-Norwegian singer, songwriter, composer and musician who also works as a pop singer and guitarist in the band D'Sound .

Life

Simone Eriksrud grew up as the daughter of a Turkish father and a German mother, initially in Bischoffingen with her mother and her parents. When her mother married a Norwegian in 1979, she moved to Volda in Norway . Until 2002 she was a German citizen, since then she has been a Norwegian citizen.

Simone Eriksrud is married to the Norwegian music producer and songwriter Simen Eriksrud , with whom she has two children. Before her marriage, she was known as Simone Larsen or by the mononym Simone.

Her voice can be heard on the song Velvet on the album "Minor Earth, Major Sky", released in 2000 by the Norwegian band a-ha . In 2004 she released a solo album Last Days and Nights with self-written titles. After her solo album debut then brought the Single Nights of Rock 'n' Roll " out. Most recently, she has in common with the Norwegians Anneli Drecker , Unni Wilhelmsen and Lynni Tekreem and Africans Marie Daulne , Tigist Bekele , Talike and Chiwoniso Maraire a Charity CD recorded for CARE International .
