Sina Reiss

Sina Reiss (born October 1, 1985 in Berlin-Koepenick ) is a German film , television and theater actress .

Life

After graduating from school, Sina Reiß moved to Munich to complete a commercial apprenticeship there. At the same time she took private singing, dancing and acting lessons.

From 2008 to 2012 she studied acting at the Mozarteum State University in Salzburg . During her studies she was already on stage as "Puck" in the Midsummer Night's Dream (director: Niklaus Helbling) at the Salzburg Festival . The final production “The Golden Dragon” (director: Tina Lanik) received an ensemble award at the 22nd federal competition for the promotion of young actors in 2011 in Hamburg.

Immediately after graduating, she was engaged as a guest at the Munich Volkstheater . There she played in the play Arabboy (director: Abdullah Kenan Karaca), which started in 2013 as a contribution by the Munich Volkstheater to the theater festival "Radikal jung - The Festival of Young Directors" .

This was followed by the first permanent engagement at the Regensburg Theater . She played there u. a. the title roles in Heidi and in The Story of Lena and was seen in the stage versions of Rico, Oskar and the Tieferschatten and Tschick . Furthermore she worked with directors like Sahar Armini, (UA Mensch Maschine ), Andrea Schwalbach (West Side Story) and Katrin Plötner (UA Pest ).

In addition, Sina Reiß was already involved in various film and television productions during her permanent engagement. With her continuous role as forensic technician “Billie Curio” in the successful ZDF series SOKO Munich , which she has played since 2015, she became known to many viewers.

The short film "RE Z - Suddenly is was lazy" (director: Alexander Kleinrensing), in which she played the leading female role, was one of the winners at the youth film festival "Flimmern und Rauschen" (Munich 2015). In the Munich BR series Servus Baby (director: Natalie Spinell) you can see Reiß in the role of Annabelle .

At the Nockherberg Singspiel 2019, Sina Reiß played the Green politician Katharina Schulze . Schulze found Sina Reiß "cooler than herself" in the performance.
