Sindbad ( Japanese ア ラ ビ ア ン ナ イ ト シ ン ド バ ッ ト の 冒 険 , Arabian Naito: Shindobatto no Bōken for Arabian Nights: Sindbad no Bōken , German "Arabian Nights: Sindbad's Adventure" ) is a Japanese cartoon series. It is based on the story of the same name from the oriental fairy tales of the Arabian Nights .
action
Sindbad is a young boy and the son of a well-known Baghdad trader. He is particularly fond of the adventure stories his uncle Ali tells him. When he brings him a talking bird named Sheila, Sindbad decides to accompany his uncle and become part of the next adventure. The adventures he experiences are partly based on other stories and characters from 1001 Nights, such as Ali Baba and the 40 robbers or Aladin and the magic lamp . Princess Scheherazade , the protagonist of the framework plot of 1001 Nights, also appears.
