Frank Engelhardt
Frank Engelhardt (born October 31, 1945 in Lindenthal ) is a German actor , presenter , director , dubbing , radio play and audio book speaker .
Career
After studying drama and sociology , Engelhardt took acting lessons and played various roles in German state theaters. Afterwards he worked for a while at the Staatstheater Karlsruhe as an actor and director before he worked for SWR as a speaker and presenter for nine years . As an actor you could see him in the Curd-Jürgens crime scene Rot, Rot, Tot .
Engelhardt is also known as a voice actor, he came into this industry by chance in the mid-1970s. His first major role was as Don Diego Vega ( Zorro ) in yesterday's westerns , played by Reed Hadley . Since then he has lent his distinctive voice to prominent colleagues such as Humphrey Bogart ( Night Out ), Malcolm McDowell ( Cat People ) and David Selby ( Falcon Crest ). He was also the black cat Salem Saberhagen in Sabrina - Totally Verhext! or heard as Brian Griffin in Family Guy ; for the role of Brian Griffin Engelhardt was represented in the third season for eight episodes (12-16, 18-20) by Joachim Höppner . Since 1989 he has also directed dialogue, a. a. for Beverly Hills, 90210 , and writes dialogue books.
In addition to these activities, Engelhardt also works as a radio play and audio book speaker. He set all works by Magdalen Nabb and Ben Berkeley to music , including news from the Witcher by Edgar Wallace .
Engelhardt lives in Landensberg.
