Will Patton

William "Will" Patton (born June 14, 1954 in Charleston , South Carolina ) is an American actor .

Life

Patton studied acting at the North Carolina School of the Arts and Actors Studio . He had his first major role in 1982 in the television series Ryan's Hope .

In the early years of his career he was also in Silkwood , Desperately Seeking Susan ... , A Gathering of Old Men by Volker Schlöndorff or Romeo Is Bleeding see. He was nominated for a Saturn Award for his role in Postman by Kevin Costner . Later productions in which he was involved include Michael Bay's Armageddon , Just 60 Seconds Left , The Mothman Prophecies or roles in the television series Numbers and The Logic of Crime and 24 . Patton is also a regular at the theater. He received two Obie Awards for Best Actor for his performance in Sam Shepard's Fool for Love and in What Did He See? by Richard Foreman .
