Documentary Unlawful Killing

His controversial documentary Unlawful Killing , which deals with the circumstances of Lady Di's death and criticizes members of the royal family, was screened at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival . Allen argued that the UK and French authorities had been covering up inconvenient facts about the accident and he refused to make 87 cuts requested by lawyers to get the film out in the UK. The work was largely financed by Mohamed Al-Fayed , the father of Diana's partner Dodi Al-Fayed , who was also killed in the Paris accident in 1997 . In addition to various theses and theories, the fact that photos of the dying Diana Spencer can be seen for the first time also caused a stir.

He later hosted "Will Burn in Hell," a program broadcast on Channel 4 that shows Allen, among other things, profiling the controversial Westboro Baptist Church under the direction of Fred Phelps and with various members of the Phelps Church and family spoke. Musician

Allen was a member of the London punk band "The Atoms" in the 1970s and later on "Fat Les", a band that also included artist Damien Hirst and Blur bassist Alex James. (Allen produced a music video for their song "Country House" for Blur in 1995.)

In 1980 Allen starred as the devil in a short film called Meteor Madness , in which the London psychobilly band The Meteors was represented. The film starred in theaters as the opening of the musical film Dance Craze , which was released in February 1981. That was the only time Meteor Madness was shown and to date it has never been released on video or DVD. Allen was also close friends with the band New Order , for which he directed the video for their 1993 song "Ruined In A Day". He wrote the track "World in Motion" for them and performed live with them occasionally, including their headline show at the 1998 Reading Festival .

Allen has been involved in several football-related records, including Black Grape's "England's Irie," and the lyrics to "Vindaloo" by Fat Les. He also composed the song "On Me Head, Son" for the movie Mike Bassett: England Manager , who however, was attributed to Sporting Les on the soundtrack album.
