One Piece Z is the eleventh animated feature film for the anime series One Piece , which in turn is based on the manga series of the same name from the Mangaka Eiichirō Oda .

The film is set in the new world of the fictional one-piece world. The Strohhutbande meets former admiral of the Navy Zephyr - now as Z known. With his own marine units and stolen Dyna stones, he intends to destroy the new world. So he could end the pirate age. The Straw Hat gang is drawn into a tough battle with him and his men. Rescue Film GmbH from Munich was responsible for the German dubbing. The dialogue book was written by Inez Günther, who was also the dubbing director. For the German version, the voice actors for the anime series were hired to speak their characters in the film.
