One Piece: Stampede is the thirteenth animated feature film for the anime series One Piece , which in turn is based on the manga series of the same name by the Mangaka Eiichirō Oda .

The film was released in Japanese cinemas on August 9, 2019, and premiered in Munich on January 23, 2020, and was released in German and Austrian cinemas five days later. On June 22nd, the film was released on DVD and Blu-ray with German synchronization.

The film is set in the New World of the fictional one-piece world. The straw hat gang makes their way to the pirate festival to take part in a treasure hunt. The price should be something special, which is why many other pirates also take part. But the Navy is on the pirates' heels again.

Publications

In December 2018 Shueisha unveiled the new costumes and character designs by Eiichirō Oda, who acts as a consultant and character designer for the film. The film was produced in Japan by Tōei Animation and premiered in Osaka on August 1, 2019. The Japanese theatrical release was on August 9, 2019.

The film was shown in the original with German subtitles in over 300 cinemas in Germany and Austria as part of the KAZÉ Anime Nights 2019 from September 24, 2019 .

The German-language premiere took place on January 23, 2020 in the Mathäser-Filmpalast in Munich in the presence of the synchro-cast, while the Germany and Austria-wide premiere took place on January 28, 2020 as part of the KAZÉ Anime Nights 2020 in over 300 cinemas.
