action

Nefeltari Vivi meets with the straw hat gang of Monkey D. Luffy on Sir Crocodile's subordinate Mr. 2. He shows them his devil-fruit acquired ability to take on the appearance of everyone whose face he has touched. Vivi recounts how Sir Crocodile portrayed himself as the country's hero while he secretly engaged the rebel army and the military in battles. When the straw hat gang crossed the desert, they found the rebel base destroyed. The rebels, led by Vivi's childhood friend Koza, witness the port city of Nanohana burned to the ground by members of Sir Crocodile's baroque company disguised as soldiers. They decide to attack Alubarna, where Mr. 2, in the form of King Nefeltari Cobra, brings the army into position against the rebels. Back in the desert, Luffy and his gang are attacked by Sir Crocodile and Ms. Bloody Sunday . Luffy can distract the two of them so that his friends can escape. But he himself is defeated and buried alive.

When the straw hat gang arrive in Alubarna, the capital of Alabasta, the baroque company awaits them. Luffy's friends lure the Baroque people into town so Vivi can stop the rebels. But she cannot convince the rebels and rushes back to the palace. Meanwhile Usopp and Chopper defeat Mr. 4 and Miss Merry Christmas and Sanji Mr. 2. Arriving at the palace, Vivi convinces the commanding General Chaka to blow up the palace to stop the fighting and let everyone listen to her. But Sir Crocodile and Ms. Bloody Sunday stop them. In the streets of the city, Nami can defeat Ms. Doublefinger and Zorro Mr. 1. Koza, who has meanwhile also arrived at the palace, witnesses how Sir Crocodile questions the king about the ancient weapon Pluton. Together with Chaka he attacks Sir Crocodile, but both fail. Sir Crocodile triggers a sandstorm that surrounds the palace, making it all the more difficult to end the fighting. Together with his partner and the king he goes into the mausoleum, Luffy who has just arrived follows them. A fight ensues in which Luffy is hit by Crocodile's poisonous hook. But that doesn't stop him either. In the city, the straw hat gang is looking for a bomb placed by the Baroque company that is supposed to wipe out both armies. You can find her with Mr. 7 and Miss Father's Day in the city's bell tower. However, after defeating both agents, Vivi discovers that the bomb has a time fuse. Pell, one of the country's greatest fighters, sacrifices himself to prevent the bomb from destroying the city. At the same time, the enraged Luffy manages to break Crocodile's hook and defeat him.

In the town square, Chaka and Koza present the defeated Sir Crocodile as the originator of the rebellion and the fighting stops. There is a banquet for the straw hat gang. But they have to leave quickly because a navy fleet is on its way to Alabasta. Faced with the decision to join the gang, Vivi decides to stay in Alabasta and help rebuild it. Eventually she can even find Pell, who is still alive.
