One Piece - Strong World is the tenth animated feature film for the anime series One Piece , which in turn is based on the manga series of the same name by the Mangaka Eiichirō Oda . The special thing about this film is that Eiichirō Oda wrote the script himself for the first time and appeared as a producer. For this film he also drew Chapter 0, which takes place about 20 years before the actual beginning of the plot of One Piece .

The infamous pirate Shiki returns after 20 years to take revenge on the world government. After kidnapping Nami, whom he tries to get to serve as his navigator, the Straw Hat pirates set out to free.

Publications

The film was produced in Japan by Tōei Animation and was shown there in theaters on December 12, 2009. A dubbed version for DVD was released on September 14, 2012. The film was shown on October 20, 2012 on German free TV on Viva.

The German dubbing was produced by the Munich dubbing studio of PPA Film GmbH. The dialogue book was written by Inez Günther , who was also the dubbing director.
