action
Globetrotter and adventurer Sindbad is on the way to Charnak with ship and crew to ask the local heir to the throne, Prince Kassim, for the hand of his sister Princess Farah. But when he arrives in the oriental kingdom, an unpleasant surprise awaits him: Kassim was cursed and turned into a baboon . The cause of the curse is Kassim's evil stepmother Zenobia, a sorceress who wants to help her own son Rafi to the throne with the action.
Only Melanthius, a wise, old hermit who can lift the curse, promises salvation . This lives off the Phrygian coast on the island of Casgar. Sindbad, who has to postpone the wedding with Farah, leaves with his team, Farah and Kassim to visit the hermit. But Zenobia and Rafi are also on their heels and make the journey difficult for the seafarers with all sorts of dangers and monsters.
In the end, all actors arrive at the hermit. Together they make a trip to the legendary land of Hyperborea , to the shrine of the Arimaspen , an ancient people. It comes to a duel with the villains, in which Rafi is killed. Zenobia then transforms into a saber-toothed tiger , which Sindbad defeats after a tough fight. The curse is broken, Kassim regains his human form, and Sindbad and Farah can marry.

Reviews
"Fairytale-like, very simple-minded adventure film, which can only amaze with its trick shots."
