Siyathemba ( English Siyathemba Local Municipality ) is a local municipality in the Pixley Ka Seme district of the North Cape province of South Africa . The seat of the municipal administration is in Prieska . Mayor is Howard Tsume.

Siyathemba means “we hope” in isiXhosa .

In 2011 the community had 21,591 inhabitants. Of these, 71.9 % were & Colored , 18.8% were black and 8.5% were white. 92.1% of the speakers were Afrikaans, 3.1% IsiXhosa and 0.9% English.
